Sauerkraut Balls
Sauerkraut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pork sausage, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 (29 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained and chopped fine, 4 tbsp. bread crumbs and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Brown sausage and onion, then add cream cheese, mustard, bread crumbs, parsley and garlic powder.
Mix well. Add sauerkraut and mix well. Refrigerate until cool.
Mix eggs and milk.
Shape sauerkraut mixture into walnut size balls.
Dip balls in flour, then egg mixture.
Roll in bread crumbs.
Deep fry and drain. Makes 70 to 75 sauerkraut balls.
