Saucy Zucchini
Saucy Zucchini is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. unpared zucchini, thinly sliced (4 c.), 2 medium onions, thinly sliced (1 c.), 2 tbsp. oleo, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook zucchini and onion in small amount boiling water until tender.
In saucepan, melt oleo, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Combine sauce with drained vegetables.
Place in a casserole dish.
Top with shredded cheese and buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
