Saucy Meatballs
Saucy Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 2/3 c. grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs, 1/2 c. milk and 1 egg, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, milk and egg.
Shape into 20 meatballs.
Brown well in shortening.
Drain excess fat.
Sprinkle meatballs with flour; stir gently to coat. Combine tomatoes, Heinz 57 sauce and salt.
Pour over meatballs. Simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir occasionally.
Serve over noodles, if desired.
