Sanders Buttercream Frosting
Sanders Buttercream Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. whole milk, 2 egg whites, 1 c. sugar, 2/3 c. real butter and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Boil 1 cup of whole milk twice (two times and let cool completely between the two times).
This is the secret. Do not rush this or the frosting won't whip together.
Beat the egg whites, dry, by themselves.
Then gradually add the sugar and beat hard.
Add real butter at room temperature and beat again.
Add cooled milk slowly.
Add vanilla and keep beating until mixture comes together into a creamy mixture that holds peaks.
