San Francisco Chicken
San Francisco Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 boneless chicken breasts (about 4 oz. each), 2 tbsp. oil, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1/4 c. chicken broth or white wine and 1/4 c. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown chicken on both sides in oil over medium heat.
Remove chicken and add garlic in the skillet.
Saute for a minute. Combine broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and crushed red pepper. Place chicken in skillet and pour sauce over it.
Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken to serving platter.
Stir in cornstarch dissolved in water.
Stir and cook until thickened.
Pour over chicken.
