San Antonio Chicken

Rinse chicken legs; pat dry.
On a plate, combine flour, paprika, salt, black pepper and either freshly crushed sage or dried sage leaves.
Dip chicken in flour mixture to coat on all sides.
In a skillet, heat butter.
Brown chicken on all sides. Transfer to a casserole.
Saute onion in same pan until soft, but not brown.
Sprinkle over chicken.
Combine tomato juice and tomato paste; pour over chicken.
