Salsa Salisbury Steak
Salsa Salisbury Steak is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 c.), 1/2 tsp. chili powder, 1/4 tsp. garlic salt and 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) salsa style chunky tomatoes, undrained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix beef, onion, chili powder and garlic salt.
Shape mixture into 4 oblong patties.
Spray 12 inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray; heat over medium high heat.
Cook patties in skillet 3 to 5 minutes, turning once, until brown; drain.
Stir in tomatoes; reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring tomatoes occasionally and turning patties once, until patties are no longer pink in center and juice is clear.
