Salmon Steaks with Dill Sauce
Salmon Steaks With Dill Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 (1-inch thick) salmon steaks, 1 small onion, sliced, 1/2 lemon, sliced, 1 bay leaf and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place salmon steaks in 10-inch skillet.
Add enough water to cover.
Top with onion, lemon slices and bay leaf; sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Combine milk and flour in a saucepan, stirring well.
Add mustard, dill seed, lemon rind, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot milk mixture into egg yolk; add to remaining hot milk mixture, stirring constantly.
Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add lemon juice, mixing well.
Remove salmon steaks from skillet.
Spoon sauce over salmon.
Garnish with reserved lemon slices, if desired.
Yields 4 servings.
