Salmon Burgers
Salmon Burgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, drained, skin removed and flaked, 1/4 c. uncooked oatmeal, 1/2 c. slightly crushed corn flakes, 2 tbsp. reduced calorie mayonnaise and 1/3 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix all ingredients except margarine.
Shape into 4 burgers. The mixture may be somewhat crumbly.
Coat bottom of large skillet (nonstick) with margarine.
Add the burgers.
Preheat burner to medium-high.
Place pan with burgers on burner.
Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, until burgers form a nice brown crust.
Carefully flip, being certain to take up the brown crust when turning.
Reduce heat to medium and cook another 5 to 6 minutes.
Good served with white sauce with English peas added.
