Salabat(Ginger Tea) is an easy dinner. Made with 1-inch slice (about 1 1/2-inches thick) fresh ginger root, peeled and crushed, 4 c. water and 4 tbsp. brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring all ingredients to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
(The longer it cooks, the stronger the ginger flavor.) Remove ginger slice before serving.
