Russian Teacakes
Russian Teacakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1/2 c. powdered sugar (plus a little extra), 1 tsp. vanilla, 2-1/4 c. all-purpose flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together butter, 1/2 cup powered sugar and vanilla.
Mix in flour, salt and nuts.
Best to chill this dough for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Once chilled, shape into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm and then again once they are cool.
