Russian Tea Cakes
Russian Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft oleo, 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/4 c. sifted flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix the oleo, powdered sugar and vanilla together thoroughly. Stir together the sifted flour, salt and chopped nuts and stir in. Chill dough roll into 1-inch balls (can be pressed down with a fork).
Place 2 1/2 inches apart.
Set oven at 400Β°. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cookies are set but not brown.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
Cool and roll again.
