Russian Borscht
Russian Borscht is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 bunches fresh beets, 2 qt. water, 1 tbsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 3 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Wash, peel and grate beets coarsely.
Place all ingredients in large soup kettle.
Bring to boil and reduce to simmer until beets are tender.
Remove from heat, cover and chill.
