Rolls
Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. milk, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 pkg. yeast and 1/4 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat milk, sugar and shortening until shortening melts, cool. Dissolve yeast in water.
Add to cooled first mixture.
Add flour to mixture and mix with a rotary beater.
Allow to rise until double (about an hour).
Stir down and add remaining ingredients and enough flour to make it the consistency of biscuit dough. Shape rolls and dip in melted butter.
Place in greased pan and allow to rise 2 hours.
Bake in a 400Β° oven until brown.
