Put yeast in bowl with warm water, and stir until dissolved. Add shortening, sugar, eggs,

6 c. of the flour and salt.

Stir and beat until smooth, about 1 minute. Add the remaining 2 - 2 1/2 c. flour, and kneed. This makes a soft dough.

Cover tightly and place in refrigerator overnight, or up to 2 - 3 days.

Punch down and pinch off, however much is needed.

Make walnut size balls, and place onto greased cookie sheet.

Let double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen rolls.
