Red Crab Soup
Red Crab Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. water, 2 c. thinly sliced carrots, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/4 c. margarine and 2 tbsp. old bay seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Place water in large stockpot.
Bring to a boil.
Add first 5 ingredients.
Return to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add potatoes.
Cook 20 to 30 minutes more.
Add tomatoes, paste and water (2 cups).
Simmer 10 minutes.
Drain peas and add with crab meat.
Simmer 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook 10 more minutes.
Serve hot.
