Raisin Scones
Raisin Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unbleached flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut in butter.
Mixture should be crumbly.
Add raisins.
Add evaporated milk and eggs, one at a time.
Put on floured board and knead dough gently, 4 or 5 times. Press into 8-inch circle about 1-inch thick.
Place on cookie sheet and cut into 8 wedges (do not separate the wedges).
Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cook until golden brown.
Serves warm.
