Preheat oven to 375Β°. Beat sugar and egg together until light and fluffy.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on an oiled baking sheet and bake 9 minutes or until tops are golden.
Cool on baking sheet several minutes, then carefully remove to a rack.
Makes about 18 cookies.
