Cut flour and Crisco together to make look like corn meal. Add water, a little at a time, just to wet all so it sticks together.
Make small balls to make into 6-inch circle.
Roll out. Place 2 tablespoons of fruit of your choice.
Fold in 1/2 moon shape.
Close with fork; press around edges.
Fry in oil in skillet or bake at 375Β° on greased sheet until brown.
