Quiche Lorraine

Preheat oven to 425°.
Fry bacon until crisp.
Crumble into small pieces.
Combine eggs, cream, salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg with hand beater.
Beat just enough to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle pie shell with cheese and bacon.
Pour in cream mixture. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven heat to 325°.
Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
