Quiche
Quiche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and drained, 1/2 to 3/4 c. finely chopped onion, 1/2 lb. gruyere cheese, grated (you can use swiss), 5 eggs and 1 1/2 c. light cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix slightly beaten eggs with light cream and salt.
Cook onion about 5 minutes in 1 tablespoon butter; add onion, cheese and crumbled bacon to egg mixture.
Season with nutmeg, cayenne pepper and dash of ginger.
Precook pie shell for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Pour mixture into shell.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake 10 minutes at 450°; lower heat to 325° and bake 30 to 45 minutes or until center is firm.
