Punch Bowl Cake
Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small angel food cake (pound cake or 1 layer yellow cake), 1 large red jell-o made with 3 c. water, 2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, 1 large size pkg. vanilla instant pudding (use slightly less milk) and 2 bananas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Layer pieces of cake in bottom of punch bowl.
Pour prepared Jell-O over cake.
Add pineapple with juice.
Slice bananas over pineapple.
Add pie filling.
Reserve 5 or 6 cherries for garnish. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with reserved cherries and pecan pieces.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
