Pumpkin Soup
Pumpkin Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (16 oz.) cans pumpkin, 2 medium onions, hot sauce to taste, nutmeg to taste and ground black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter in a stockpot.
Pour in onions; cook until soft. Add pumpkin and broth.
Cook for 30 minutes at a slow simmer. Remove mixture and blend in food processor.
Put back in pot.
Add hot sauce and nutmeg to taste along with pepper.
Cook 15 minutes. Add cream and bring just to a boil.
Serve immediately with chopped chives on top.
