Pullet Surprise
Pullet Surprise is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 chicken, cut into quarters, lite salt and pepper, 4 tbsp. margarine or oil, 1 c. fresh mushrooms (small, whole ones) and 1 can artichoke hearts (14 oz. can), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Rub the chicken pieces with seasonings, then brown in margarine.
Put in a shallow dish with the mushrooms and drained artichokes.
Mix the soup, sour cream and wine with the chicken drippings and pour over chicken.
