Pull Bread
Pull Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 2 c. water (lukewarm), 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. shortening and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix and work into a stiff dough.
Let rise twice in bulk. Then work down.
Roll on floured board like you would biscuits. Cut with biscuit cutter and pull each biscuit real thin.
Then press (standing up) together in a loaf pan.
Let rise again until it is twice in bulk.
Bake in 325Β° oven.
Makes a real good loaf of bread.
