Prune Pudding
Prune Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. each: nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, salt and soda, 1 c. buttermilk and 1 c. chopped nuts (black walnuts if possible), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Blend all dry ingredients together.
Add to them alternately with buttermilk.
Add nuts, prunes, oil and vanilla.
Bake at 300Β° for 40 minutes.
Cut loose from sides of pan and cut in squares (in pan).
Pour icing over it.
