Prune Bread
Prune Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. oil, 3 eggs, 1 jar junior prunes with tapioca (or 2 small jars) and 2 1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Put all ingredients in a bowl, except the walnuts, and mix well.
Add nuts.
Bake in a small greased loaf pans at 350° for 1/2 hour, then reduce heat to 325° and bake for 1/2 hour.
Let cool for 25 minutes or so, then remove from pans and cool on racks.
Keeps well in refrigerator or freezes well.
(I use three 3 1/2 x 7 x 2-inch deep pans.)
