Pressure-Cooked Wild Turkey
Pressure-Cooked Wild Turkey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 turkey, 1 stalk celery, halved, 1 apple, quartered, 2 onions, quartered and 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place prepared turkey in a pressure canner.
Add all other ingredients.
Cook until done, according to directions in your pressure canner booklet.
Remove turkey from canner and put in a large baking pan.
Broil very carefully until brown.
Rub with a stick of butter or margarine during broiling, if meat appears to be drying out.
Also, place foil over breast if it starts to burn. Serves 6 to 8.
