Praline Pound Cake
Praline Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans, 1 lb. pkg. brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 2 sticks margarine and 1/2 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans over the bottom of pan; set aside.
Combine sugars, butter and shortening; cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla, then fold in remaining 1 cup pecans.
