Pound Cake Made Healthy
Pound Cake Made Healthy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. softened margarine, 3 egg whites (1/3 c. egg substitute), 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 c. vanilla nonfat yogurt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating 4 minutes or until well blended.
Add vanilla and almond. Beat at low speed until well blended.
Set aside.
Combine flour, soda and salt. Add alternately with yogurt to creamed mixture. Use flour first and last.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 65 minutes at 350Β°.
Contains 150 calories per 1/2-inch slice.
No cholesterol.
