Combine ingredients, except oil. Mix well.
Pour about 2-inches salad oil into a saucepan or frying pan and heat to 375Β°. Drop batter by tablespoons, 4 or 5 at a time, into hot oil.
Fry 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve immediately.
Yields about 24 puffs.
