Potato Bread
Potato Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. potato water (lukewarm), 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Stir yeast into potato water until dissolved.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add potatoes and yeast mixture.
Add salt and milk and mix well. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, until you have a stiff dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic. Put dough in an oiled bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
