Pork Chops Creole
Pork Chops Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium pork chops, 1 large onion, peeled and sliced, 3 c. boiling water, 6 bouillon cubes and 1 c. raw rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Brown pork chops on both sides.
Slice onion, saving center slices and chop the remaining onion.
Remove chops from pan.
Add water and bouillon cubes and stir until dissolved.
Add rice, onion, salt and spices.
Place chops on top with slice of tomato, bell pepper and onion on top of each chop.
Bake covered at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
