Put 1 tablespoon olive oil and the margarine in a large skillet that has a lid fit and cook the onions and garlic until soft.

Remove skillet and reserve.

Add the potatoes and saute until tender, turning to brown on both sides. Remove and add to onions garlic.

Pork chops. Add the rest of the olive oil and brown chops on both sides. Return the potatoes, onions and garlic.

Lower heat and add the chicken broth, rosemary, pepper and salt.

Cover and simmer 30 minutes, or until chops are tender.
