Pork Chop Creole
Pork Chop Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 thick boneless loin pork chops, floured, 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 1 large onion, sliced thin, 1 clove garlic, finely chopped and 1 large green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oil in skillet on medium-high heat.
Brown pork chops on both sides.
Lower heat to medium.
Add onions; cook until wilted. Add all other ingredients except rice.
Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
Place pork chops on rice.
Cook sauce on high heat for 5 minutes to thicken.
Pour over chops and rice.
Makes 2 servings.
