Pork Chop Casserole
Pork Chop Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. shortening, 4 pork chops, 2 (15 oz. each) cans butter beans, 1 onion, sliced and 3/4 tsp. salt or to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt shortening in skillet.
Brown pork chops on both sides. Drain butter beans, reserving juice.
Arrange beans in 1 1/2-quart casserole in alternate layers with onion.
Sprinkle salt and pepper over layers.
Add reserved juice from beans and catsup to skillet in which pork chops were browned.
Arrange pork chops on top of beans in casserole.
Pour liquid over chops.
Bake covered at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours, until chops are tender.
