Put potatoes into greased 2-quart baking dish.
Pour evaporated milk over potatoes.
Season pork chops with onion, salt and pepper.
Trim fat.
Cook fat until crisp, then remove from skillet.
Brown chops slowly on both sides, then put on top of potatoes in baking dish.
Cover and bake in 375Β° oven for 1 1/4 hours or until potatoes are tender.
