Pork Chop and Onion Rice Casserole
Pork Chop And Onion Rice Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 6 pork chops, 1 envelope dry onion soup mix, hot water, 1 c. uncooked rice and 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Place chops in single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Brown in oven (or brown in skillet). Remove chops and pour off fat.
Spread rice evenly in bottom of baking dish and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid, and distribute mushrooms evenly over rice.
Add hot water to reserved mushroom liquid to total 3 cups.
Pour over rice.
Arrange browned chops on top and cover tightly.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until all liquid is absorbed.
