Polish Casserole
Polish Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 to 9 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin, 1/2 lb. polish sausage, sliced thin, 1 c. grated mild cheddar, 1/2 c. milk and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish, place a layer of potatoes.
Sprinkle lightly with flour, salt and pepper.
Place a layer of sausage and sprinkle with cheese.
Continue layering until pan is full (usually 3 layers).
Pour milk into dish.
Cover with foil and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes until potatoes are done.
Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
