Polish Angel Wings "Chrust"
Polish Angel Wings "Chrust" is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 11 egg yolks, 1 whole egg, 3 tbsp. vinegar, 3 tbsp. liquor (like whiskey or other; keeps the grease out) and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Whip all ingredients, except for vegetable oil, flour and powdered sugar.
Slowly add flour until the batter is satiny. Roll out on a well floured board (the thinner the better).
Cut into long strips, then cut strips into 4 to 5-inch strips.
Slit these strips in the center and pull one end through to make a bow tie.
Deep fry these, about 6 to 8 at a time.
When golden, remove from hot oil.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
