Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained (save juice), walnut halves and maraschino cherries, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Heat margarine in 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish or pan in oven until melted.
Sprinkle brown sugar over margarine.
Arrange pineapple on top of mixture.
Decorate with walnut halves and maraschino cherries.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package, except substitute pineapple juice for water. Pour cake batter over mixture already in pan.
Bake until top springs back when touched lightly in center, 45 to 55 minutes. Immediately invert pan on heatproof serving plate.
Let pan remain a few minutes.
Serve warm and if desired with whipped cream.
