Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. shortening or lard and 4 to 5 tbsp. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine flour, salt and shortening in bowl.
Work in shortening with pastry blender until it forms tiny peas. Distribute water evenly over mixture.
Mix with fork.
Dough should hold together but not be sticky.
Divide in half and shape 2 balls.
Let dough sit wrapped in Saran Wrap for 2 hours before rolling out.
Makes 2 single crusts.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 minutes.
