Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped, 2 medium sized green peppers, thinly sliced and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness, using meat mallet.
Cut steak into serving size pieces.
Brown steak in hot oil in large skillet; drain.
Return to skillet and add tomatoes, green peppers, onion, water, soy sauce, pepper, bouillon granules, garlic powder and ginger.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 55 minutes, stirring occasionally.
