Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. sirloin or round steak, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 medium onions, chopped, 1 c. beef broth or 1 can and 3 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Trim fat and bone from meat; cut meat into pieces.
Brown meat thoroughly in butter; season with salt.
Add onions; cook until tender.
Stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until meat is tender.
Add green peppers; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch and water; stir gradually into meat mixture, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil 1 minute, then add tomatoes; heat through.
Serve over rice.
