Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. sirloin steak (1 1/2 inches thick), 1/2 c. soy sauce, 1 clove garlic, 1 c. beef bouillon and 2 green peppers, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Marinate meat in mixture of soy sauce, garlic and 1/2 cup of beef bouillon for 15 minutes.
Drain meat, reserving liquid.
Melt a piece of fat trimmed from steak in a very hot frying pan. Quickly brown meat on each side.
Add onion, celery and green pepper and cook until tender.
Mix cornstarch with reserved liquid and remaining beef bouillon; stir into meat and vegetables.
Cook until thickened.
Serve with rice.
Tomato wedges may be added for garnish.
Serves 8.
