Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 1 lb. steak, cut into thin strips (caribou, venison or moose), 1 medium onion, thinly sliced, 2 green peppers, thinly sliced and 1 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oil in skillet, uncovered, at 325Β°.
Add meat and brown.
Add onion and pepper slices and cook until just tender. Dissolve cornstarch in soy sauce and water.
Add brown sugar and pepper.
Pour into skillet, stirring, until sauce is thickened and clear.
Serve over hot rice.
Serves 4.
