Pecan Raisin Cake
Pecan Raisin Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. plain flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. raisins, cooked and chopped and 3/4 c. shortening or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Cream shortening, add sugar and egg; one at a time; beat well after each.
Stir in nuts and raisins; add flour mixture with milk.
Beat until smooth. Add vanilla.
Bake in two pans at 375Β° until done or for some 35 to 40 minutes.
Frost with 7 Minute Icing.
