Pecan Crescents
Pecan Crescents is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine (at room temperature), 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 c. pecans, finely chopped and 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer until fluffy.
Add pecans; mix until blended.
Wrap dough. Chill 1 hour.
Heat oven to 300Β°.
Divide dough into 8 equal pieces.
On lightly floured board, roll each piece into a 12 3/4-inch long rope.
Cut each rope into 8 pieces.
Shape into crescents.
Place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or just until golden.
While warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
