Pecan Corn Bread

Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl; set aside.
Mix together half and half, butter and eggs in another bowl.
Stir liquid mixture and pecans into cornmeal mixture until just combined.
Pour batter into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes or until cake tester inserted into middle of loaf comes out clean.
Cool in pan on cooling rack 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
