Pecan Cookies
Pecan Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. soda, 1 tbsp. hot water, 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar and 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine soda and water; mix well.
Cream the butter or margarine; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well.
Stir in soda mixture and vanilla.
Add flour, beating until blended.
Stir in pecans.
Shape into 2 rolls (1 1/4-inches in diameter).
Wrap in wax paper and chill until firm.
Unwrap rolls, cut into 1/4-inch slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
